Took this incredibly boring photograph and it reminded me of some of Martin Parr’s boring postcards.
Everybody should find their inner clown. on Flickr.

It brings you back down to earth. How could you truly believe that you are above anybody else when you’re wearing polka dot trousers and a red nose? In fact I propose a ‘dress-as-a-clown-for-work-day’ where it’s compulsory for everybody including politicians, teachers, doctors, police men and business men to dress as a clown, I’m sure that would solve a lot of problems.
thenextthoreau asked: your disposable camera experiment came out really well... I expected silly nudity or taboo to be honest :)
Ah thank you very much, I was surprised that I only got one naked picture back (bit of blurry hairiness - nothing too offensive). I’m undecided as to whether I’ll post it online yet - I don’t really want to but at the same time I don’t want to censor everything…

Today I found the alphabet in my back street.
So I was walking along down my alley and I noticed a whole alphabet of scrabble tiles which had cascaded all over the pavement and been left abandoned so I felt it necessary to rescue as many as would fit into my pocket. So far I’ve managed to spell the above and put it with our fruity fridge magnets. Oh and I got myself a new floor lamp from the very same back alley and it’s light is guiding me as I type.

I recently bought a Kodak 127 camera for £2 from the market and jammed some 35mm film in. The colours came out massively warped and there were a lot of double exposures. I haven’t decided whether I like them or not yet but I’ll upload a few more.
Pockets, a set on Flickr.
Via Flickr:Part of the traveling camera project. A while ago I left some disposable cameras in public places around Newcastle with notes instructing the finder to take pictures of different things depending on the camera. The only one that I have got back so far is the pockets one which asks people to take a photo of what’s in their pocket or bag and then pass it on to a friend and tell them to do the same thing. It was inspired by this short documentary. Anyway some pictures are interesting, some are very blurry and abstract and there’s even a bit of nakedness!

The town of Roscoff, where we were staying is very straight and I don’t remembered seeing any graffiti there. One day we took a train to St Pol De Leon, half an hour away and it was very different, it felt a lot more urban and we saw this graffiti which means ‘Fuck the police’.
